RAYCO® Manufacturing, Inc. was established in 1978 by John M. Bowling and remains a family business. Mr. Bowling identified the special needs of the tree and landscape industry and began to build equipment to meet and surpass those needs.

No other manufacturer of stump cutters and environment equipment places as much emphasis on quality engineering as Rayco. Using state of the art Solid Modeling and Finite Element Analysis, Rayco’s engineers provide the best designs the industry has to offer. Extensive product testing follows each of these designs, so when a Rayco machine reaches the market, you can be assured of its quality and dependability.

With almost 200,000 total square foot of manufacturing space, Rayco is ready to expand and grow. We are proud to have a strong Ohio-based work force, which take great pride in their workmanship. These skilled men and women are continuous improving their skills on the job and through additional training.

RAYCO® Manufacturing, Inc., 110,000 square-foot manufacturing and assembly facility in Wooster, Ohio is also home to our Corporate Offices. Rayco’s 85,000 square-foot facility in Massillon, Ohio houses our Powder Coat Paint system, manufacturing/final assembly, and parts warehouse. Rayco is dedicated to the design and production of the world's most innovative and complete line environmental equipment.

Our current product line includes: Mini Work-Force, the handle bar stump cutter line, Self-Propelled, including the innovative RG 1625A Super Jr., Tow-Behind, including the ground-breaking RG 1672DXH, Cutting Tools, consisting of our patented Super Tooth and the newly enhanced Compact Crawler line.
